IBLABS GENETICS is a seed bank based in Italy, but they’re not your average seed seller. They come from pharmaceutical-grade growing backgrounds; think GACP and GMP standards. They offer genetics, cultivation consulting, training, and even help companies set up entire operations. They work with people growing indoors, in greenhouses, or living soil. The clientele ranges from hobbyists to actual pharmaceutical businesses.
The client needed a site that could do two things at once: sell seeds to growers and look serious enough for corporate clients. Their old setup didn’t really hit either mark. Plus they operate across Europe so shipping and payments needed to work smoothly everywhere. And with the kind of products they sell, age verification had to be handled properly from the start.
What needed fixing
We started in Figma and made sure the site looked serious without being boring. Clean lines, professional feel, but still approachable for regular growers. The pharmaceutical background goes front and center because that’s what sets them apart from every other seed bank.
For the build we used Shopify. It handles the European sales side: different countries, payments, shipping; without the client needing to stress. We also built in proper age verification that doesn’t feel like a barrier. Just a quick check and people are in.

Yeah that was the whole point. Regular growers can find genetics fast and corporate clients immediately see this is a serious operation. Two different crowds, one simple site.
Absolutely. Works the same on a phone as it does on a laptop. Most people probably browse strains on their couch anyway.
