Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated WordPress Developer to join our development team. Someone with up to one plus year of experience, you will have the opportunity to work on website development, customization, and maintenance projects. You will be responsible for building and managing WordPress-based websites, developing custom themes and plugins, and ensuring website performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify WordPress themes and plugins as per project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues, including debugging and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Implement responsive designs to ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
- Optimize website performance for speed and scalability.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and technologies.
- Design and develop responsive WordPress websites
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins as per project requirements
- Convert Figma/PSD designs into WordPress pages
- Ensure website performance, usability, and cross-browser compatibility
- Maintain and update existing WordPress websites
- Collaborate with designers and content teams
Required Skills:
✅ Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and custom post types.
- Knowledge of WordPress hooks, filters, and short codes.
- Basic understanding of website security and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Git/version control is an advantage.
- Strong experience with WordPress CMS
- Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg
- Good understanding of UI/UX and web design principles
- Knowledge of website optimization and responsiveness
